Privacy Policy

This policy explains what ClaimSweep collects, why, and who processes it. We keep it short because we collect little.
What we collect
- Email address — when you request a report, join the monitor list, or contact us.
- The URL you submit for a scan, and the public content of that page (processed to prepare your report).
- Basic usage analytics — pages viewed, referring site, campaign parameters (UTM), a coarse device type, and approximate country (derived from your IP by our infrastructure provider). We use a random session identifier stored in your browser to avoid double-counting; it is not tied to your identity.
- Ad measurement data — if you arrive from one of our Google ads, Google's conversion tag sets first-party cookies and we store a Google click identifier (gclid) in your browser, used only to measure whether our ads led to a scan or signup.
We use Google Ads conversion measurement to see whether our own ads led to a scan or signup; this sets first-party cookies and shares limited conversion data with Google. We do not build advertising profiles, run cross-site behavioral ad targeting, or use this data for anything beyond measuring our own ad performance.
Payment information
Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Your card details go directly to Lemon Squeezy and its payment processors — we never receive or store your full card number. We receive a confirmation that an order was paid, the associated order reference, and the email used at checkout, so we can fulfill and support your report.
How we use it
- To prepare and deliver your report, and to provide support.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service and understand how it is used.
- To contact you about your order or, if you opted in, about the monitor product.
Who processes your data
We use a small number of service providers, only to run the service:
- Cloudflare — hosting, storage, and network security.
- Lemon Squeezy — payments (merchant of record).
- Resend — transactional email (delivering reports and notifications).
- Google (Google Ads) — advertising conversion measurement (only if you arrive from one of our ads).
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited conversion data with Google solely to measure the performance of our own ads — never for others' advertising.
Retention
We keep report requests and related records for as long as needed to deliver and support the service and to meet legal or accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see below).
Your choices
You can ask us to access or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing [email protected]. Payment records held by Lemon Squeezy are subject to its own policy.
Children
ClaimSweep is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes take effect when posted with a new "Last updated" date.
